About
I am a researcher working on the topic of precision medicine, and pharmacogenomics at the Personalized Medicine Research Center (PMRC), Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinical Science Institute (EMRI), Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Tehran, Iran that currently pursuing a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology. I have enough skills in molecular biology techniques and computational analysis. My strong research professional with Master’s degree focused on gene association studies, particularly, focused on diabetes and cancer. I am passionate about expanding my research and knowledge in cancer biology and related areas, especially precision medicine, and pharmacogenomics. I am motivated to foster interdisciplinary collaborations within geneticists, bioinformaticians, pharmacologists, and clinicians.

My Vision
As a Ph.D. undergraduate specializing in genetics with a focus on pharmacogenomics, I am deeply committed to advancing the field of personalized medicine. My doctoral research centers on a pharmacogenomics initiative in the Iranian population, where I explored the genetic determinants of drug response and the implications for individualized therapy. This work has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of genetic diversity and its impact on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics within this unique demographic.

Vision for Future Research and Impact
My vision is to leverage my expertise in pharmacogenomics to drive the next generation of personalized medicine, ensuring that treatments are tailored to the genetic profiles of individuals, thus maximizing therapeutic efficacy and minimizing adverse effects.
Specifically, I aim to contribute to the following areas:
Integrative Pharmacogenomics
By integrating genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data, I seek to develop robust models that predict drug response with high accuracy. This involves not only identifying genetic variants but also understanding their functional consequences in diverse populations.
Population-Specific Pharmacogenomics
Building on my experience with the Iranian population, I plan to extend my research to include other underrepresented groups. This will help address health disparities and ensure that the benefits of personalized medicine are accessible to all, regardless of ethnic background.
Clinical Implementation
I am passionate about translating research findings into clinical practice. My goal is to work closely with clinicians to develop and implement pharmacogenomic guidelines that can be used in routine medical care. This includes creating educational programs for healthcare providers to facilitate the adoption of personalized medicine approaches.
Collaborative Research
I envision fostering interdisciplinary collaborations that bring together geneticists, bioinformaticians, pharmacologists, and clinicians. These collaborations are essential for the holistic understanding and application of pharmacogenomics in personalized medicine.
Long-Term Goals
In the long term, I aspire to lead a research team dedicated to exploring the genetic basis of drug response variability. I aim to secure funding for large-scale studies that will further elucidate the genetic architecture of pharmacogenomic traits. Additionally, I hope to contribute to the development of international pharmacogenomic databases, which will serve as invaluable resources for researchers and clinicians worldwide.
Commitment to Innovation and Education
Innovation in personalized medicine requires continuous learning and adaptation. I am committed to staying at the forefront of technological advances in genomics and bioinformatics. Furthermore, I believe in the importance of mentorship and education, and I am dedicated to training the next generation of scientists in the principles and practices of pharmacogenomics.
In pursuing a postdoctoral position in personalized medicine and pharmacogenomics, I aim to build on my foundational research to make significant contributions to the field.
My vision is to create a future where medical treatments are precisely tailored to the genetic makeup of individuals, leading to better health outcomes and a deeper understanding of human biology. I am excited about the potential to work with leading experts in the field and to contribute to groundbreaking research that will pave the way for the next era of medicine.
